About SIP

Skals International Project-class was established at Skals Efterskole more than twenty years ago

SIP is a class that suits the future educational system. It is a class where we work with hands on projects, instead of traditional school subjects. Instead of learning german, math and history, we learn leadership, teamwork and entrepreneurship.

What is SIP?

Skals International Project-class is a unique class, that focuses on working project-oriented and creatively. The general idea is to create a class that doesn't work with normal school subjects but instead, with projects that the students themselves decide. So while our schoolmates have worked with math and Danish, we have worked on projects about youth politics, and global development.

One of the biggest differences between SIP and a normal school class, is that in SIP students work on the basis of their own motivation and passion for creating a positive impact on the world. All SIP students are passionate young people who like to work creatively and try to come up with new solutions for the problems that the world faces. In SIP, we know that the worlds complex problems can’t be solved with simple solutions. That's why we always try to think outside of the box and come up with different solutions and approaches to the problems that we decide to work with.

SIP Meets Malawi

Now we have begun our biggest project so far. Project Malawi. The project’s core idea is to help a local community in Malawi. You can read more about the project and our goals here.
